Thomas Henderson Suggest updates

Director.

Thomas Henderson discovered his interest in opera while an undergraduate, directing with the newly-founded Aberdeen University Opera, in stagings of Carmen and The Magic Flute, having previously directed the operetta Patience, the previous year.

His involvement with Edinburgh Studio Opera has included Die Fledermaus (2014), Opera Scenes: Love and Death on the 2012 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, An Invitation to Figoro's Wedding in April 2013. He was assistant director of Purcell's King Arthur (2013), and also directed their 2014 Edinburgh Fringe Production, Flirtation and Fury.

Thomas directed Magnetic Opera's debut production of The Barber of Seville at the 2014 Edinburgh Fringe, with Maria Stuarda the following year.

His further musical activities include holding the post of Director of Music at St Mary's RC Cathedral, Edinburgh, and he is a Tenor Scholar in The Robin Chapel Choir. He is also a fully qualified secondary school English teacher.
