As usual, Pag followed Cav during this long Glasgow season. Horace Vincent continued to assemble his small repertory of lyric roles - his career would develop over the next fifteen years. The new name here is the dramatic tenor John Perry, who spent three seasons with the company.
Cast details are from a programme in the Gardiner collection (Mitchell Library). Further tour dates to be confirmed. A programme for 23 April is archived in Edinburgh Central Library and confirms casting with the exception of Beatrice Miranda performing as Nedda.
