Mignon had been rested by the Carl Rosa for a few seasons while they tried out some other French works, but it now returned briefly, with the usually flamboyant Zélie de Lussan in a much more restrained role.

Casts are as reviewed in the Glasgow Herald of April 22, and as advertised for 6 May. A programme for 21 April can be found in the Mitchell Library.
