Alistair Digges Suggest updates

Scottish tenor and conductor.

Alistair Digges studied at the RSAMD and in London at the Royal College of Music's International Opera School, where he held Ackroyd and Mason scholarships, and was winner of the Knights of the Round Table Prize.

His roles at the Royal College of Music included Belfiore La finta giardiniera. Other operatic appearances include Nemorino (Opera South), Rodolfo (Vignette Productions and Silent Opera), Alfredo (Go Opera), Tamino (Dartington Festival), Don Gomez in Weber's Die drei Pintos (University College Opera), Dumain in Nabokov's Love's Labour's Lost (Linz Opera da Camera, Austria); Rinuccio and Hoffmann (Fife Opera). With Opera Bohemia he has sung Rodolfo, Edgardo and Pinkerton, and conducted Eugene Onegin. He has also worked on the Sloans Project. Other engagements have included the title role in the world premiere of Sir Nigel, under the baton of Laurence Cummings; a series of operatic recitals across India with soprano Patricia Rozario; and an opera gala with Dame Ann Murray.

He is co-founder of Opera Bohemia with Douglas Nairne.
