Theatre Royal, Dunlop Street, Glasgow Glasgow

The Theatre Royal in Dunlop Street, Glasgow opened on 11 January 1782.  In May 1869 the theatre moved to the Glasgow Theatre still known by that name, at 282 Hope Street/77 Cowcaddens Street, which had been open for two years as the Royal Coliseum.

The Dunlop Street Theatre Royal was between 1822 and 1829 known as the Caledonian Theatre.

The building was demolished to make way for St Enoch's railway station
