The cast is drawn from the Glasgow Herald (2 May). 

The reviewer states that Cav and Pag 'are the terrible twins of sordid realism', and argued that Pag fared better, 'thanks mainly to the intensity of John Myrrdin's work as Canio.  

" ... the choral and orchestral work was indifferent throught. Arthur Hammond conducted."
