Moldovan soprano.

Rodica Picireanu studied piano at the Chisinau Music College, graduating in 1994. She later trained as a singer at the Chisinau Music Academy.

Her debut with the Chisinau National Opera was in 2003 as Nedda. She has since toured with the company to Italy, Holland, Germany and the UK. Subsequent roles include Micaëla, Mercédès, Liù and Countess Almaviva.
