American baritone.

Andrew Schroeder has appeared with most of the major British companies. He first sang with Scottish Opera as the Captain in The Death of Klinghoffer at the Edinburgh International Festival, returning for Enrico Ashton. He returned to the Festival with the Lyon company as Don Fernando Fidelio. Other operatic appearances in Britain include the Royal Opera (Eugene Onegin), WNO (Rossini's Figaro, Oreste in Iphigénie en Tauride) and ENO (Eugene Onegin).

He has appeared at Brussels La Monnaie (title role in Enescu's Oedipe, Agamemnon in Iphigénie en Aulide); Lyon (Thésée in Oedipe, Mr Astley in The Gambler, Toshio in Hasegawa's Hanjo and Don Fernando ); Paris Opéra National (Falke); Toulouse (Billy Budd, Eugene Onegin); Madrid (Tarquinius); Venice la Fenice (Germont, Figaro); Vienna Theater an der Wien (Thoas Iphigénie en Tauride); Sydney (Don Giovanni, Albert Werther).

Concert engagements include James MacMillan's St John Passion with the Brussels Philharmonic and Schumann's Scenes from Goethe's Faust athe New York Lincoln Center.
