Stepan Andrashevich was a tenor who specialised in character parts. He appeared with the company on a series of tours, including the visit to the 1962 Edinburgh Festival.

When Decca sent a team to Yugoslavia in 1955 they recorded seven rare Russian operas. Andrashevich's repertoire included Mussorgsky (Shuisky, Scribe) and Tchaikovsky (Triquet).
