Canadian soprano.

Erin Wall's career began at the Lyric Opera of Chicago where she was in roles by Offenbach (Antonia), Gounod (Marguerite) and Britten (Helena). In recent seasons she has worked at the Metropolitan Opera (Donna Anna, Arabella, Helena), Santa Fe (Arabella, Daphne and the title role in Barber's Vanessa), La Scala (Helena), the Vienna Staatsoper (Donna Anna), and the Paris Opéra. Appearances with Canadian companies include Toronto (Countess Almaviva, Clémence in Saariaho's L'amour de loin) and Vancouver (Desdemona).

In the UK she made herFirst appearance in London (War Requiem 2002) and the following year was a finalist in Cardiff Singer of the World.  Her Edinburgh International Festival debut came in 2011 in a concert performance of Massenet's Thaïs (title role) under Sir Andrew Davis. She returned in 2013 (Verdi Requiem with Runnicles) and 2017 for Elgar's King Olaf (with Davis) and Ellen Orford in Peter Grimes.  (with Gardner).

Mahler's 8th Symphony features prominently in her performance schedule and discography.  She recorded it three tmes, with Pierre Boulez, with Michael Tilson Thomas and Yannick Nézet-Seguin. In Tokyo she sang it with the NHK Symphony under Paavo Järvi.

She sang the Strauss Four Last Songs with Thomas Dausgaard and the BBC Scottish Symphony.

Her operatic recordngs include Thaïs with Sir Andrew Davis and Peter Grimes with Edward Gardner.
