Larissa Diadkova Suggest updates

Russian mezzo-soprano.

Larissa Diadkova studied at the Leningrad Conservatoire, graduating in 1978. She was a prizewinner in the Glinka Vocal Competition in 1984, and was then invited to join the Kirov Opera. Tours with that company took her throughout Europe, North America and Japan.

Her repertoire included works by Glinka (Ratmir Ruslan and Lyudmila); Musorgsky (Feodor Boris Godunov, Marfa Khovanshchina); Borodin (Konchakovna Prince Igor); Rimsky-Korsakov (Nezhata Sadko, Kashcheyevna Kashchei the Immortal); Tchaikovsky (Liubov Mazeppa, Olga Eugene Onegin, Polina & Countess The Queen of Spades); Prokofiev (Fortune Teller & Abbess The Fiery Angel) and Verdi (Maddalena Rigoletto).
