Žarko Cvejić Suggest updates

Yugoslav (Serbian) bass.

Žarko Cvejić was a leading bass soloist with the Belgrade opera through the ffifties and sixties. He sang several principal roles with the company during its 1962 visit to the Edinburgh Festival.

A few years earlier, in 1955, when Decca made excellent recordings of seven rare Russian works, he participated in operas by Borodin (Galitsky/Konchak) and Mussorgsky (Varlaam, Ivan Khovansky),
