Scottish tenor.

Peter Richfield studied in Glasgow at the RSAMD (with Margaret Dick). With a scholarship from the Ralph Vaughan Williams Musical Trust he also trained with Nicholas Powell in Manchester at the RNCM.

A period in the Glyndebourne Festival Chorus allowed to appear as Don Ottavio. He worked for one year in France, singing several solo parts while under contract at the Grand Théâtre de Nancy. Roles with Dublin Grand Opera included Edmondo (Manon Lescaut). Concert work includes several oratorio appearances in France, Germany and Eire.

He joined the Scottish Opera Chorus in 1985, sing several solo parts, such as First Priest (The Magic Flute) and Messenger (il trovatore).
