Signor Gabussi toured twice as a member of Mr Beale's Italian Opera Company, performing short roles.

There is an Italian-born composer and conductor (Bologna 1800 - London 1846).  He toured widely in the UK under the Giuseppe de Begnis management (1827-35) and may be this tenor's father.
