Shakespeare Theatre Liverpool

The theatre opened in 1888, and according to the Arthur Lloyd website, its capacity was around 3500.

It was demolished in 1976 following a fire.

Later in its life it was known as the New Shakespeare Theatre then as the Pigalle Theatre Club.

We have been unable to identify the site of the theatre precisely, although the map pin has been placed in Fraser Street.
