The Carl Rosa 1948 tour included a week in Aberdeen, commencing Monday 12 April, with the following schedule: Mon Tosca; Tue Bohème; Wed Traviata; Thu Madam Butterfly; Fri Carmen; Sat mat Butterfly; Sat eve Trovatore. Later, in Glasgow, the repertoire was lightened with the addition of Rossini's Barber, but here there were two performances of Butterfly. The Tosca cast is taken from a programme for 12 April in Aberdeen City Library.

Cast details for Tosca in Glasgow are taken from a programme for Tuesday 11 May in the Gardiner Collection (Mitchell Library). This also has information on the following evening's Butterfly performance.
