Read more about the opera Rosenkavalier

This must have been an enjoyable Rosenkavalier, starting from Barbirolli in the pit, and with Miriam Licette, Marjorie Parry and Norman Allin apparently ideally cast as the Marschallin, Octavian and Baron Ochs.

Note also the husband-and-wife pairing of William Michael and Doris Lemon playing father and daughter, as Faninal and Sophie, the latter being the only major change from the 1931 revival.
