The repertoire of the Arthur Rousbey English Opera Company was solidly traditional - Maritana, Martha, Lucia di Lammermoor, Bohemian Girl, Rigoletto and Faust.
The hugely popular Bo Girl had been unaccountably omitted from the Rousbey week in Dundee the previous year, so here it was to make amends.
