This lengthy Opera For All tour continued with the original cast still in harness. As in the previous autumn, the other operas in rep were Traviata and Don Pasquale. In the following October the Donizetti was retired, to be replaced by a new production of Rossini's Cinderella.

The spring 1970 itinerary includes: 15 Jan (Glasgow),  22 Jan (Troon), 23 Jan (Stranraer), 3 Feb (Keighley), 7 Feb (Sedbergh), 10 Feb (Skipton), 15 Feb (Chester), 19 Feb (Barnsley), 27 Feb (Saddleworth, 12 Mar (Goole), 14 Mar (Scunthorpe), 20 Mar (London), 3 & 5 Jun (Dundee).

The autumn tour was: 24 Oct (Perth), 26 October (Kirkcudbright), 29 October (Hamilton),
