While the company was giving mainstage performances of the complete opera in the four principal cities, many subsidiary venues were entertained by this brief (20 minute) sweetener of extracts. These were cleverly arranged fby Derek Clark for solo soprano with harp and cello accompaniment. A narrator linked all the scenes together. For instance in Dundee, Rachel Hynes sang a potted version of Tosca's role, including a complete performance of 'Cissi d'art' three times within a couple of hours - hard work for all concerned!
