Scottish mezzo-soprano.

Barbara Scott is a mezzo soprano based in Edinburgh.  She has sung principal roles for Fife Opera, Tayside Opera, Opera Camerata (Edinburgh) and Aria Alba (Edinburgh).  She studies singing with Rosemary Nairne in Kirkcaldy and has taken part in the Oxenfoord International Summer School Opera Scenes concert and the Melofonetica Italian Opera course in London.  Barbara is also an accomplished singer of oratorio and lieder and has won medals in the Opera and German Song categories at the Edinburgh Competition Festival. Her next role with Fife Opera will be Olga in Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin in November 2016.
