Baritone.

Benjamin Bevan trained in London at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama under DAvid Pollard.

After a period in the Glyndebourne Chorus, he joined English Touring Opera, where his roles included Escamillo (Carmen), Speaker (Magic Flute) and Trulove (Rake's Progress). With Opera Holland Park he sang Hanezo (L'amico Fritz), Silvano (Un ballo in maschera) and Zaretsky (Eugene Onegin). For the Northlands Festival he created Thor in Tales for the End of Northworld (Will Todd). He also sang Barelli in the British premiere of The Aspern Papers (Argento).

His Scottish Opera debut in 2002 was as Marcello. He returned for roles in Andrea Chénier and Carmen, before singing Riccardo in I puritani, Lescaut in Manon, and Douphol in La traviata.

Appearances abroad include Alidoro in Lausanne.
