Appleton Moore Suggest updates

English baritone.

Appleton Moore served throughout the First World War in the Gordon Highlanders. He later sang a wide range of leading roles between the wars, working particularly with the Carl Rosa company. On retirement he became a notable teacher in London, where the great baritone Peter Glossop was one of his students.
