Pamela Helen Stephen had a successful career in opera and concert that took her to Europe, America and Australia.  She was ten when her family moved north to Scotland, and she grew up in Aberdeen before studying in Glasgow at the RSAMD.  Her first degree was followed by a postgraduate course in opera, oratorio and lieder.  She continued her studies in Toronto and Colorado.
