Florence Morden Suggest updates

Soprano.

Florence Morden began her career singing small solo roles with Moody-Manners, but was quickly given principal lyric parts such as Marguerite.

After the closure of Moody-Manners, she moved to Joseph O'Mara's company, spending several seasons as his leading lyric soprano, also able to tackle heavier parts including Tosca, Manon Lescaut and Wally. The reduced orchestrations generally used may have helped in this regard, if she was more of a lyric rather than a spinto soprano.
