Canadian soprano.

Erin Wall's career began at the Lyric Opera of Chicago where she was aéch (Antonia), Gounod (Marguerite) and Britten (Helena). In recent seasons she has worked at the Metropolitan Opera (Donna Anna, Arabella, Helena), Santa Fe (Arabella, Daphne and the title role in Barber's Vanessa), La Scala (Helena), the Vienna Staatsoper (Donna Anna), and the Paris Opéra. Appearances with Canadian companies include Toronto (Countess Almaviva, Clémence in Saariaho's L'amour de loin) and Vancouver (Desdemona).

In the UK she made her Edinburgh International Festival debut in 2011 in a concert performance of Massenet's Thaïs (title role). She returned in 2017 for Elgar's King Olaf and Ellen Orford in Peter Grimes. All were conducted by Sir Andrew Davis. They have also performed Thaïs with the Melbourne Symphony.

Mahler's 8th Symphony features prominently in her performance schedule and discography.  She recorded it both with Pierre Boulez on Deutsche Grammophon and with Michael Tilson Thomas and the San Francisco Symphony. In Tokyo she sang it with the NHK Symphony under Paavo Järvi. She has sung the Strauss Four Last Songs with Thomas Dausgaard and the BBC Scottish Symphony.
