Karina Bligh Suggest updates

Australian soprano.

Karina Bligh studied in Adelaide at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, graduating in 2015. She won the 2017 Dawn Wallace Memorial Prize, the 2016 Arnold Matters Competition and the 2016 SMBS Young Virtuoso Award. Further study periods include opera programmes in Sydney, Austria (Graz) and Italy (Sulmona).

She was a Young Artist at the State Opera of South Australia from 2016-18. Her debut with SOSA in 2016 was as Papagena. She created Elaine in Cloudstreet! (George Palmer).
