Opera Bohemia to perform Falstaff

Opera Bohemia are poised to make further progress as Scotland's young touring company, following their success in 2017 taking Bizet's Pearl Fishers round Scotland.

It was marvellous to hear that last year audience numbers reached a record high with nearly three and a half thousand people seeing their Pearl Fishers, and many venues sold out.

New Year, fresh programme at Royal Conservatoire of Scotland

The new season gets off to an interesting start. The RCS is offering two rarities in a double bill of Holst's Savitri and Viktor Ullmann's The Emperor of Atlantis. Witches of Paisley

The Witches of Paisley is to be Paisley Opera’s first major production and will be performed on December 8 and 9 at Paisley Abbey.

It is a dramatisation of the events of the last major witch hunt in Western Europe.

Scottish Opera’s hugely popular Opera Highlights tour kicks off once again in February, travelling to 14 smaller, more remote venues the length and breadth of Scotland, from Lerwick in the north to Castle Douglas in the south.
